NCW 2017 K-12 Teacher Workshop

On Saturday, October 7th, a free teacher workshop was held at Binghamton University to help promote this year's NCW theme of Chemistry Rocks!  The workshop focused on exploration and discovery of chemistry and its relevance to our daily lives. The first part of the workshop concentrated on the logistics and theory behind the exercises. The second part was dedicated to hands-on activities and how to modify them to the correct grade level. All participants left with the materials needed to incorporate the exercises into their own classrooms.  Please check out our Photo Gallery to view some photos from the event.
